Sounds like a stretch, right?   It's not.

> Your donation of a few dollars will buy enough firewood to keep a family warm for a couple nights.

> As little as $25 will feed a family of five for a full week! (That's less than a movie and popcorn for two!)

> $100 will buy enough firewood to keep a family warm for nearly a month.

> $2500 will build a house!

If you'd like to join with us and truly make a difference in the life of someone in Barek Aub or elsewhere in Afghanistan, you can do so in a number of different ways. And all donations are 100% tax deductable.

If you want to help provide emergency and developmental aid directly to the people of Barek Aub and pay by check, make your check out to Flatirons Church and put "Barek Aub" in the MEMO section. Mail it to either of the addresses listed at the bottom of this page. To help us track our efforts and keep you informed, please indicate your club affiliation (SCCA, BMW CCA, etc.) on your check or write "Bob & Patty Tunnell" at the bottom.

Unfortunately at this time there is no way to donate using your credit card. We hope to have this resolved soon.

SPECIAL NEED Bob & Patty are returning to Afghanistan with another team of volunteers from Flatirons on June 23 and each team menmber needs to raise about $3k to fund their trip. If you feel let to help toward the team's expenses you can send a check to either address listed below.
